Tom Shelley

Tom Shelley is an experienced professional in analytics engineering and business management. Currently serving as the Analytics Engineering Manager at Sony Interactive Entertainment since September 2024, Tom previously held significant roles including Co-founder and COO of PhD Pigeon Ltd since November 2016, guiding the company in connecting PhD students with industry opportunities and ensuring high-quality client deliverables. Prior to that, Tom was the Head of Analytics Engineering at Tasman from October 2021 to September 2024 and a Senior Analytics Engineer, demonstrating expertise in data modeling and client delivery. At Dyson, Tom worked from July 2018 to October 2021, first as Data & Analytics Technology Manager focusing on scalable analytics technology and then as Global Data Product Manager. Earlier experience includes key account management at NI (National Instruments) and technical roles in sales and applications engineering. Tom holds both a Masters and a Bachelors of Engineering in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
