David Jacoby is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Litigation, Business & Legal Affairs at Sony Music Entertainment since January 2015. Jacoby has held various positions at Sony Music, including Vice President from 2006 to 2014 and Senior Counsel from 2001 to 2005 when Sony BMG was part of the company. Prior to joining Sony, Jacoby worked as an Associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP from 1996 to 2000. Jacoby holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, obtained in 1992, and a degree from Dartmouth College, earned in 1989. Early education was completed at Hunter College High School.
