Ian Sharpe

Ian Sharpe is an experienced media executive currently serving as the Head of Film & TV Creative for Sony Music Entertainment in the UK & Europe since June 2021. Prior to this, Ian held the position of Head Of Somethin' Else TV Studio at Somethin' Else from April 2010 to June 2021, where ultimate responsibilities included overseeing both Moving Image and Digital departments. Ian's career began at the BBC, where roles included Senior Producer and Producer for BBC Radio 2, among others, from January 2002 to March 2010. Educational background includes an MA (Hons) in English Literature, Film & Television from the University of Glasgow and an MBA in Music Industries from the University of Liverpool.
