James Young

James Young is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as a Finance Manager at Sony Music Entertainment since August 2016, James has progressed through positions including Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Analyst. Prior to Sony, James worked at Avnet as a Finance Assistant, and gained initial experience in the finance sector while at ODEON & UCI Cinemas as a Cashier and Team Member. James began a career in retail at Halfords as a Sales Assistant. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Hertfordshire, complemented by A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, and History from The Hertfordshire & Essex High School and Science College, along with GCSEs from Burnt Mill Secondary School.
