Kenny Ong

Kenny Ong serves as the Managing Director for Sony Music Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Special Projects Southeast Asia at Sony Music Entertainment since January 2024. In addition, Kenny holds the position of Chairman for the Recording Industry Association Singapore (RIAS) and the Malay Research Society (MRSS), leading efforts to foster music development in Singapore. Prior roles include CEO of Astro Radio, where leadership extended over Malaysia's most prominent radio network, and Chairman of the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia. Additionally, Kenny's experience encompasses managing director positions at Universal Music Group, strategic roles at Unilever and Takaful IKHLAS, and senior management in corporate strategic planning at CNI Group, complemented by a solid educational foundation in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
