Damien de Froberville

Damien de Froberville currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Production & Operations at Sony Pictures Animation since October 2023. Previously, Damien worked as an Independent Consultant and Producer starting in March 2020, collaborating with notable entities such as Illumination Entertainment, Netflix, and El Guiri Studios. From May 2020 to August 2023, Damien held the position of CEO and Producer at The SPA Studios, where responsibilities included overseeing HR, technology, recruiting, finance, production, and the production of the film "Ember." Prior to that, a career break was taken in late 2019 due to a planned year-long family tour that was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in Damien's career, from May 2018 to December 2019, leadership was provided as the Animation Studio Head at Netflix, overseeing the production of animated films and series and contributing to the establishment of the Netflix Animation Studio.
