Shreya Kuthiala

Shreya Kuthiala is an IT Business Analysis Trainee at Sony Pictures Entertainment, having gained diverse experience through roles such as a Research Assistant at the UCLA Computational Vision and Learning Lab, where Shreya optimized convolutional neural network models and trained algorithms in Linux environments. As part of the Bruin Sports Analytics team, Shreya enhanced performance analytics for the UCLA tennis team, and as External Vice President of the National Student Data Corps at UCLA, led teams in data analysis projects. Shreya also completed a Financial Planning & Analysis internship at Harness, developing predictive models for customer retention, and furthered skills in venture capital during an externship at HP Tech Ventures. Contributions to educational projects include developing a textbook for the Center for Mathematics and Teaching and conducting data analyses for Techstrong Group’s industry interviews. Shreya holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a focus on Statistics and Data Science from UCLA and participated in an exchange program at Maastricht University in Psychology and Neuroscience.
