Eric Panketh

Eric Panketh is a seasoned executive in information security, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of the Sony Corporate Information Security Division at Sony, a position held since October 2015. Panketh has advanced through various roles at Sony, including Senior Vice President and Executive Information Security Officer, and Vice President and General Manager of Operations for the Global Information Security Department. Prior to joining Sony, Panketh held prominent positions at the Federal Communications Commission and the National Security Council, where responsibilities included leading operations and emergency management efforts. Panketh began a professional career as a Financial Analyst at Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor and possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis from The LBJ School of Public Affairs.
