Joan Rhee

Joan Rhee serves as the Assistant Director at Sony since January 2023, following a successful tenure as an International Tax Senior Manager at EY from October 2013 to February 2023, where support was provided to multinational clients across various industries including entertainment, retail, manufacturing, and life sciences. Prior experience includes a Judicial Externship at the Superior Court of the State of California, where case law research and legal memoranda drafting were undertaken. Joan began a career in tax consulting at First Capitol Consulting, Inc., contributing to significant tax liability reductions for corporations while also authoring a notable prospectus report. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from UCLA.
