Makiko Y.

Makiko Y. has extensive experience in project management and business development, currently serving as Global Project Manager for Compliance & Security within the Global Information Systems and Communications division at Sony since April 2018. Prior to this role, Makiko Y. held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Sony Mobile Communications from November 2008 to March 2018, and worked as Governance Manager at Sony Ericsson from July 2002 to October 2008. Early career experiences include a role in the Consular Section at the Japanese Embassy in London in 2002 and serving in the President's Office at Sony Hawaii Company from 1999 to 2002. Makiko Y. earned a Master's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor's degree from International Christian University, with additional study at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and the University of California, Davis.
