Pablo Barros

Pablo Barros is a Lead Machine Learning Researcher at Sony, currently developing graph neural network models for user behavior modeling and recommendation systems. They hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Hamburg and serve as a Permanent External Professor at the University of Pernambuco, mentoring students and teaching on AI and human-agent interaction. Previously, Pablo contributed to machine learning for mental health, focusing on privacy-preserving models to detect chronic stress and sleep disorders. Their research interests include ethical AI and affective computing, bridging cutting-edge AI advancements with real-world applications.
