Peter Kim

Peter Kim is a seasoned legal expert with extensive experience in the music and technology industries. Currently serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Sony Corporation of America since 2005, Peter has held various senior legal positions within the company. Peter also contributes to the industry as a member of the Board of Directors for Music Choice since 2016, a multi-platform music network, and previously served on the Board of Directors for EMI Music Publishing until January 2019. Prior roles include counsel at IBM and associate at Dewey Ballantine LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and international trade. Peter holds a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.
