Adrian Nunez is the VP of Creative A&R at Sony Music Publishing. Adrian has also worked as a summer associate at The Davis Firm and as an intern at Sony Music Entertainment.

Adrian Nunez has a long history of working in the music industry. Adrian started out as an intern at Sony Music Entertainment, where they drafted agreements for projects such as radio and internet broadcasts, product placements in videos, corporate event sponsorships, live performances, guest artist performances, and promotional campaigns. Adrian also researched recording agreements for issues regarding entertainment rights, marketing and merchandising.

After their internship, Adrian Nunez worked as a summer associate at The Davis Firm. There, they performed legal research and drafted producer agreements, recording agreement provisions, trademark applications, certificates of recordings, side-artist agreements, finder’s fee agreements and work-for-hire contracts. Adrian also revised and updated various provisions in the firm’s model recording agreement, including the entertainment rights (“360-deal”) language. In addition to their legal research, they also corresponded with representatives from outside labels, other entertainment entities, and major corporations to acquire information necessary to meet album release dates and other firm deadlines.

Now, Adrian Nunez is the VP of Creative A&R at Sony Music Publishing. In this role, they are responsible for finding new talent and signing them to Sony Music Publishing. Adrian also works with existing talent to

Adrian Nunez has a Doctor of Law (JD) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, with a concentration in Intellectual Property, Entertainment & Media Law. Adrian also has a B.S. from Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations.
