Russell Murphy (Rusty)

Russell (Rusty) Murphy is an experienced Inventory Analyst with a strong background in optimizing inventory management processes across multiple organizations. Currently at Sooner Pipe since April 2022, Russell addresses systemic inventory issues, enhances communication among departments, and implements standard operating procedures for overseeing $400M in inventory across 80 locations. Previously, during tenure at ExxonMobil and XTO Energy, Russell managed inventory control effectively during significant growth phases, coordinated with internal and external auditors, and developed risk mitigation strategies, ultimately preventing substantial financial write-offs. Initial career roles in sales and technical support at Vivint Canada provided a foundation in customer relations and product installation. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of North Texas and an Associate of Arts from Tarrant County College.
