Amol Kapoor

Amol Kapoor is an Extended Team Member at Ubiquity Ventures, specializing in investing in software beyond the screen. Previously, Amol served as a Co-Founder & CTO at SOOT, where Amol worked on Freaking Files. With a background in computer engineering, Amol has held roles at Google as a Software Engineer, focusing on 2D to 3D conversion and large-scale graph mining. Additionally, Amol has experience as a Research Scientist at Bionet Lab @ Columbia University, a Co-Founder of molabs, and has interned at Google, iSENTIUM, LLC, and NYU Langone Medical Center. Amol's work spans developing AI hardware solutions for diabetic retinopathy screening, researching neural networks and Drosophila brain emulation, and designing software applications for various purposes.
