Iole Pezzuto

Iole Pezzuto has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies.

From 2016, Iole worked at SOPHiA GENETICS, starting as a Scientific Communication Specialist until May 2019. Then, they became a Manager of Scientific Communication from June 2019 to February 2020. Since February 2020, Iole has been the Director of Product and Scientific Communication at SOPHiA GENETICS.

Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Project Leader at Vivactis Switzerland from February 2015 to August 2016.

Starting from August 2014, Iole worked at Biowebspin (formerly known as Biotechspin) as an Assistant Partnership Director until February 2015.

Iole Pezzuto completed their Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Bari from 2003 to 2006. Iole then pursued a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine at the same institution from 2006 to 2008. Iole's education journey continued at the University of Lausanne, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cardiovascular and Metabolism from 2009 to 2014.
