Jaume Bonet Martinez

Jaume Bonet Martinez is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Bioinformatics at SOPHiA GENETICS since November 2019, Jaume has progressed through various roles, including Manager and Team Lead. Prior to this, Jaume was a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL in collaboration with Prof. Bruno Correia from April 2015 to September 2019. Jaume's academic journey includes a PhD in Health and Life Science from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, alongside multiple degrees in Computer Science, Biomedicine, and Biology from various institutions, including Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Jaume has held research and undergraduate positions in bioinformatics and computational biochemistry, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
