Swati Tomar

Swati Tomar, Ph.D., is an accomplished product manager at SOPHiA GENETICS since April 2022, bringing extensive expertise in clinical genomics and molecular biology. From July 2015 to April 2022, Tomar served as a senior research fellow in the Department of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, leading clinical genomics projects on inherited cardiovascular disorders, and worked in the Department of Paediatrics focusing on rare diseases. Additional roles include senior research fellow at the Genome Institute of Singapore, medical writer for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and junior research fellow in eLearning at Nanyang Technological University. Prior experience includes graduate research assistant and teaching assistant at the University of South Carolina and research assistant during the Bachelor's degree at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Tomar holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
