SOPHIA Oxford enables businesses to incorporate key social indicators into sustainable business practices that improve the impact of their social investments and the lives of their employees. SOPHIA Oxford was formed by Oxford University, as a not-for-profit partner of Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI). Over the past decade, OPHI has developed an approach to building key social indicators that combines multiple factors of well-being and aggregates social data for macro policy and micro targeting. This approach is being used by the UN, World Bank and more than sixty emerging countries to measure poverty and vulnerability. SOPHIA Oxford is bringing this world class methodology to the private sector. SOPHIA Oxford permite a las empresas incorporar indicadores sociales clave en prácticas comerciales sostenibles que mejoran el impacto de sus inversiones sociales y la vida de sus empleados. SOPHIA Oxford fue formada por la Universidad de Oxford, como un socio sin fines de lucro de Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI).
