Melissa McBride

Melissa McBride is the CEO of Sophia Technologies and has over 20 years of experience in education. Melissa has worked across the globe in various leadership positions, including Head Teacher at Long Close School and Head of Primary at Hartland International School. In their most recent role, they served as Education Advisor to Global CEO of Cognita Schools. In this role, they were responsible for the foundation of the Global Education Advisory Group and providing support to Global Executive Team on M&A opportunities in the Middle East. Melissa is passionate about education and believes that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and reach their potential.

Melissa McBride has a Bachelor of Education from Western University, where they majored in English and Melissa'story. Melissa also has a Master of Arts in Geography Education from the Institute of Education, London. Melissa is currently an Ontario Academic Scholar at Orangeville District Secondary School.
