Colin Cowie is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat intelligence and digital forensics. Currently serving as a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst at Sophos since May 2020, Colin has previously held roles including Threat Analyst and Founder of Red Flare Security, a digital forensics and incident response consulting firm. Prior positions include Cyber Security Risk Consultant at Crowe, where responsibilities encompassed penetration assessments and incident response investigations, and High Tech Crime Unit Analyst at the Lafayette Police Department, focusing on digital evidence processing. Colin's background also features software engineering experience at Anthem and Three Wire Systems, contributing to various projects with a focus on Java, Python, and database technologies. Colin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security from Purdue University in 2020.
