Mike Benson

Mike Benson has a strong background in engineering and supply chain management. Mike is currently serving as the Vice President of Hardware Engineering and Supply Chain at Sophos since March 2022. Previously, from September 2019 to March 2022, they held the position of Vice President of Hardware Engineering at the same company. Prior to joining Sophos, Mike worked at Netronome for 14 years, starting in 2005 as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Supply Chain. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at Mangrove Systems from April 2002 to June 2003. From October 2000 to March 2002, they held the role of CEO and Vice President of Engineering at Inviscid Networks. Mike also worked at Fore Systems as the Director of ATM Edge HW from June 1993 to October 2000. Mike started their career at AT&T Bell Labs as an MTS in June 1988, where they worked until June 1993.

Mike Benson earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1984 and 1988. Mike further pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University from 1989 to 1990.
