Shiva Farahani

Shiva Farahani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software development and reservoir engineering. Currently serving as a Team Lead in Software Development at Sophos since March 2017, Shiva previously held key roles at Schlumberger from 2002 to 2017, including Senior Product Owner for Reservoir Engineering, where responsibilities included providing technical input and shaping business strategy for reservoir simulator software. With a strong foundation in quality assurance as a Senior Software QA Engineer, Shiva ensured the technical quality of high-resolution reservoir simulation models, particularly the INTERSECT simulator. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Sazeh Consultants, focused on gas and petrochemical project designs. Shiva holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
