Troy Burwell

Troy Burwell is an experienced professional in project management with a robust background in technology and security sectors. Currently serving as Director of Technical Project Management at Sophos since February 2025, Troy oversees a team of Principal Project Managers and manages large programs following Sophos' acquisition of Secureworks. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of the Global Project Management Office at Secureworks, where leadership was provided for the product PMO, and Head of Americas PMO at Landis+Gyr, overseeing project management for North and South America and Japan. Troy's extensive career also includes positions at IBM Internet Security Systems, leading network security projects, and at Federated Systems Group, managing complex development projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Management Science and Information Technology from the University of Georgia and an MBA in Information Technology from Georgia State University.
