Gianni Farina

Gianni Farina is an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with a strong background in managing and optimizing databases across various technologies. Currently at Sopra Banking Software since September 2020, Gianni focuses on database administration, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing using Oracle 12c and AWS Cloud. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior DBA at Temenos, where significant performance enhancements were achieved using Oracle 19c and Exadata technologies. Gianni's career began at Accenture, where extensive work was done in database performance tuning and automation for major clients. Gianni holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Master's Degree in Computer Studies from the University of Essex.
