Carol Antuofermo

Carol (Young) Antuofermo has a varied and extensive work experience in communications and media management. Carol currently holds the position of Lead Communications Manager at Sopra Steria since November 2023. Previously, they worked at Virgin Money UK PLC as a Senior Media Manager from October 2019 to September 2023. Carol also served as the CEO and Corporate Communications Lead at Virgin Money UK PLC from July 2022 to June 2023. Before that, Carol worked at Clydesdale Bank, where they held several roles including Senior Media Manager - Consumer Communications from April 2016 to October 2019, Senior Media Relations Manager from April 2007 to March 2016, and Internal Communications Manager from October 2002 to September 2007. Carol started their career at Danske Bank as a Communications Lead - Euro Project from September 2001 to October 2002, focusing on managing the transition to the Euro currency. Prior to that, Carol worked as a Public Relations Manager at Bank of New Zealand and as a Communications Consultant at The Presence Ltd.

From 1988 to 1990, Carol (Young) Antuofermo studied Journalism Studies at Edinburgh Napier University.
