Mike Driver

Mike Driver CB is an accomplished independent board chair and non-executive director with extensive experience in finance and governance. Currently, they serve as a lay council member and chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the General Dental Council, as well as a senior business advisor at Newton Europe and KPMG Saudi Arabia. They have held significant positions such as head of the Government Finance Function at HM Treasury and permanent secretary at the Ministry of Justice UK. Mike has also contributed to various strategic advisory roles, including chairing the Maximus UK Strategy and Advisory Board and the Sopra Steria Strategy and Advisory Board. They earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Finance and Leadership from the University of Warwick, enhancing their expertise in public finance.
