Husnu Kalkanoglu

Husnu Kalkanoglu has extensive experience in the field of research and development in the roofing industry. Starting in 2005, they held the position of Vice President of Research & Development at Saint-Gobain CertainTeed Roofing and CertainTeed Corporation. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the research and development activities of the company. In 2014, they joined SOPREMA USA as the Technical Director, where they continue to contribute their expertise in the industry.

Husnu Kalkanoglu attended Deutsche Schule Istanbul from 1962 to 1974, where they completed their High School education. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) from Boğaziçi University from 1974 to 1978. Following their undergraduate studies, Husnu Kalkanoglu furthered their education at the University of Cincinnati, where they obtained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science (MSChE) from 1978 to 1981.
