Hewa Balisane Ph.D.

Hewa Balisane PhD, PFHEA, serves as a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security at The University of Law and is the President and Co-founder of the Global Kurdish Young Professionals Society, dedicated to the development of Kurdish youth. Balisane holds significant leadership roles at Soran University, including Assistant Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Education, where notable improvements were achieved in curriculum development and student satisfaction. Additional positions include Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Faculty of Science, Head of the Computer Science Department at Arden University, and Vice Rector at Palacký University Olomouc Erbil Campus. Balisane has also contributed to Shahid Foundation for Higher Education as Assistant CEO and held various academic roles at Manchester Metropolitan University. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Information and Cyber Security, an MSc in Data Telecommunications and Networks, and a BSc in Multimedia Technology, among other credentials.
