Jae Gangemi has accumulated extensive work experience in the software engineering and DevOps fields. Starting in 2000, Gangemi worked as a Technical Lead at Register.com, where they developed a domain name registration system using Perl/CGI/PSQL and later assisted in replacing these systems with Java/J2EE technologies.

Gangemi also created custom tooling to integrate with third-party applications and improve the developer experience. They led efforts to decommission the Java 6 based monolithic application.
In 2023, Gangemi joined Sorcero as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
