Brian J. Hamilton

Brian J. Hamilton, PhD, currently holds the position of Materials Development Manager at SOREL, starting in September 2024. Previously, Brian served as Sr. Materials Developer at KEEN from June 2022 to October 2024, and as Senior Manager of Advanced Development at Reebok from March 2017 to March 2022. Earlier experience includes working as a Textile Technologist and Navy Footwear Program Manager for the United States Department of Defense from October 2015 to March 2017, and as a Textiles & Materials Engineer at New Balance from October 2012 to October 2015. Brian began their career as a Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University in the College of Textiles from May 2010 to October 2012 and held various roles including ITMA Intern at Alpaca United and Research Associate at the Institute of Textile Technology. Brian earned a PhD in Textile Technology Management and an MS in Textiles & Apparel from North Carolina State University, as well as a BS in Materials Technology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
