Tristan Wright

Tristan Wright is an experienced interpreter specializing in American Sign Language, currently serving as a VRS Interpreter at Sorenson Communications since August 2022. With a history of freelance interpretation since May 2014, Tristan has also held positions as a Video Remote Interpreter at Interpretek and a Sign Language Interpreter at City Colleges of Chicago. Previous roles include interpreting for college-level classrooms at Rochester Institute of Technology and administrative support in various capacities at the institution, as well as work with the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley. Educationally, Tristan holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a focus on Disability Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in ASL-English Interpretation from the Rochester Institute of Technology, complemented by dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre and French from the University at Buffalo.
