Kannan Rajendran

Kannan Rajendran is an experienced professional in the wind energy sector, currently serving as Deputy Manager at Sorigin Group since August 2023, focusing on asset management for a wind portfolio. Previously, Kannan held the position of Site Manager at alfanar from October 2020 to February 2022, overseeing operations and maintenance of a 300MW wind farm. Kannan's career includes roles as Deputy Manager for Wind O&M at Greenko Group and Senior Engineer at Mytrah Energy, where responsibilities included the operation and maintenance of wind farms totaling 250MW and 277.2MW, respectively. Earlier positions at Wind World India Limited involved monitoring and controlling wind turbine generators through SCADA systems. Kannan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jayam College of Engineering and Technology from 2007 to 2011, following HSC in Mathematical Biology from Government Boys Higher Secondary School.
