Alyssa Marshall has a diverse work experience in the fields of digital strategy, marketing, and communications. Alyssa began their career as a Social Media Coordinator at Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc. in January 2012. Alyssa then moved on to become a Digital Marketing Manager from February 2013 to January 2016. Following this, they worked as the Director of Digital Marketing & Communications for Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc. from January 2016 to June 2020. In their last role at the same company, they served as the Director of Digital Strategy & Technology starting in June 2020. Additionally, Alyssa worked at the National Business Coalition on Health as a Program & Communications Manager from December 2008 to December 2011, where they managed various communications activities and facilitated the launch of the organization's new website.

Alyssa Marshall attended Penn State University from 2004 to 2008. During their time there, they pursued studies in Journalism, Women's Studies, and African Studies. However, they did not complete a degree during their tenure at the university.
