Pia Nygaard Hein has extensive work experience in the field of operations and assistance coordination. Pia has held various roles in different companies, starting with Flexjet as a Travel Coordinator and later as an Account Executive. Pia then worked at Europ Assistance as an Assistance Coordinator. Following that, they joined Gouda Rejseforsikring and held positions as an Assistance Supervisor and later as a Teamleader. In 2014, they became the Head of Operation and International network at Gjensidige, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Quality & Operational support at SOS International.

Pia Nygaard Hein has a diverse education history. In 1996-1999, they attended the Tourism Academy, where they studied an unspecified field. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued a degree in HR/Leadership at Akademimerkonom. In 2012, Pia obtained a degree in HR from Probana Business School.
