John McGuire

John McGuire, CFA, serves as a Senior Director at BNY Mellon since March 2023 and has been an Angel Investor at SOS since May 2021. Previously, John held various positions at State Street from March 1996 to February 2023, culminating in the role of Global Head, where responsibilities included overseeing the Enhanced Custody and Prime Brokerage business, generating $300 million in annual revenues, and playing a pivotal role in the development of the prime brokerage platform. John began as an original member of the team responsible for launching State Street's prime brokerage offering, successfully growing the hedge fund financing and custody business. John holds a Master of Investment Management and a Master of Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University.
