Daniel Rio

Daniel Rio has extensive work experience in the food industry, holding various management positions throughout their career. Daniel is currently the CEO of SOSA INGREDIENTS, where they lead the company in supplying premium ingredients for the foodservice industry. Prior to this role, they served as an Advisor and Investor at Heura Foods, a plant-based protein foodtech start-up. Daniel also held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing South Europe at BISCUIT INTERNATIONAL for a brief period in 2022. Before that, they had a long tenure at CSM Bakery Solutions, where they held multiple roles including Business Unit Director, Channel Director, Sales Director, and VP of Marketing. Daniel started their career at Groupe VIVESCIA, holding different management positions at Grands Moulins de Paris and Délifrance. Throughout their career, they demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning within the food industry.
