Mehdi Hazratifard

Mehdi Hazratifard is an experienced educator and technology leader with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Faculty Lecturer at Vancouver Community College since September 2023, Mehdi teaches machine learning applications in the Emerging Technology course. In addition, Mehdi holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Soshianest since February 2022 and has experience teaching data warehousing and data mining courses at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Previously, Mehdi was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Victoria and University of Guelph, and served as an Assistant Professor at Pishtazan University for over six years, instructing various courses in data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Mehdi earned a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Shiraz University and a Licentiate degree in Mathematics and Physics from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents.
