Andrew Gollach

Andy is an MBA Student at Carnegie Mellon and Fellow at HAX. He completed his BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Andy worked for Honeywell UOP where he worked at client sites to commission and operate new industrial facilities. From 2015 to 2019, he worked at LanzaTech where he spent 18 months in China leading the site team through construction, commissioning, and initial operations at LanzaTech’s first-of-its kind gas fermentation facility. He spent his MBA summer internship at ARPA-E where he worked to develop a funding strategy to decarbonize maritime transport.
