Patrick Ballmer

Patrick Ballmer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Patrick started their career as a Research Chemist at BASF in 1999, before joining ETH Zurich as a PhD Student in 2000. At ETH Zurich, they worked on their research towards a PhD under Prof. L. Scapozza and Prof.

In 2004, Patrick moved on to become a Project Manager at SOTAX Group. Patrick then progressed within the company to become the Vice President of SOTAX Group and Head of Market Unit Americas. As part of their role, they were responsible for overseeing the operations of SOTAX Group in North and South America. Patrick was also a member of the SOTAX Group Management team and served as the Deputy to the CEO and President of SOTAX Group.

In 2013, Patrick became the Chairman of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, Boston Chapter, further demonstrating their leadership and management capabilities. Additionally, in 2016, they participated as an YL2016 Alumni at the American Swiss Foundation.

Overall, Patrick Ballmer has extensive experience in research, project management, and leadership roles across various organizations in different parts of the world.

Patrick Ballmer received their Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry from ETH Zürich from 1994 to 1999. Patrick then went on to pursue a Master of Advanced Studies in Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zürich from 2001 to 2004, specializing in the field of Business.
