Benedict Nyambu

Benedict Nyambu has extensive experience in operations management and transport. From 2022 to present, they have been working as a Transport Manager for Sote. From 2020 to 2022, they were an Operations Management Consultant for HK & DC Holdings Ltd. From 2016 to 2020, they were Own Fleet Manager and Control Tower Manager: East Africa for DHL Supply Chain (K). From 2008 to 2016, they were Distribution & Planning Manager - KBL Contract and Distribution Co-ordinator - Safaricom Contract for DHL Supply Chain (K). From 2005 to 2008, they were a Quality Controller for Otago Daily Times. During their roles, they managed workshop activities, monitored drivers' performance, coordinated trucks and resources, drafted and documented key QC processes, and inspected equipment and materials. Benedict achieved notable successes such as increasing GP of the KBL Contract by 60%, setting up BCPs for flood stricken areas, and increasing productivity on the shop floor by 14%.

Benedict Nyambu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Science from the University of Otago between 2004 and 2008. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Customer Service, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification, Strategic Human Resources, and Warehouse Management: Inventory, Stock and Supply Chains from Alison and LinkedIn.
