Dr. Oliver Schlicker

Dr. Oliver Schlicker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and cloud technology, currently serving as the Head of Business Development at SOTEC since February 2023, where the focus is on facilitating digital and green transformation through IoT, ML, and Cloud technologies. Prior to this role, Dr. Schlicker held significant positions at stenon, aiding agriculture firms in soil data management, and at Google, where contributions included adopting Google Cloud technologies across various sectors. Additional expertise comes from roles at Mirantis, Cisco, and Sun Microsystems, specializing in cloud services, IT transformation, and sales in strategic accounts. Dr. Schlicker earned a PhD in Hydrogeology from Kiel University, with a strong background in academia, including research and lecturing in groundwater remediation technologies.
