Lauren Smith has a wealth of experience in the business development and account management fields. Lauren began their career in 2004 as an Employee of the athletics department at The Pittsburgh Rivers Club. In 2008, they moved to Shaw Industries as a Shaw Flooring Account Executive, where they cultivated and maintained strong collaborative relationships with property developers, architects, designers, specifiers, end-users, and contractors to maximize business. Lauren enabled territory growth from $1.7M to $3.2M within 3 years through national annuity contract account-focused sales. In 2012, they joined Tarkett as a Senior Key Account Manager and Senior Account Executive, and also joined Tandus | Centiva Flooring - A division of Tarkett North America as a Senior Account Executive. Most recently, they have been a National Account Business Development Manager at Soter Analytics since 2022.
Lauren Smith began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended The Art Institutes and The Art Institutes Pittsburgh, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design in 2008. In 2022, they will receive a Certification in Buisness Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh.
