Shin-Lo Chia

Shin-Lo Chia has extensive experience in business development, executive management, and co-founding startups. Shin-Lo began their career as a Senior Engineer at Amp before transitioning to roles such as President/CEO of GCT technology and Business Development at Ezconn. Shin-Lo served as a Special Assistant for the CEO at Oplink, and later as CTO/VP Engineering at Photonera Corporation/Intexys France. Shin-Lo Chia played a significant role in the business development of Oplink (later acquired by Molex) and Henan Lying Environmental Science and Technology Co. LTD, where they served as a founder and also co-founded Greentech Enterprises (Medical Waste), demonstrating its ability to treat medical waste from the beginning to usable energy and material. Currently, Shin-Lo Chia is working as the Senior Director at Foxconn and will be the CEO of Sotera in 2022.

Shin-Lo Chia began their education at National Taiwan University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree. Shin-Lo then matriculated at University at Albany, SUNY and studied applied physics. In 1986, they attended UC San Diego, where they pursued Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
