Derick Beckwith

Derick Beckwith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Derick is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Soteria - Security Solutions & Advisory since September 2021. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, they worked at Enclara Pharmacia as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in full-stack web and mobile development using Microsoft technologies. From 2014 to 2016, Derick worked at SPARC, an Agile Systems Delivery Hub of Booz Allen Hamilton, where they held the position of a Senior Software Engineer and Software Developer. During this time, they worked on a Java web application, fixed defects in UI and backend code, and led team discussions. Before that, in 2013, they worked at excelleRx as a Programmer Analyst II, where they developed order shipment tracking and reminder functionality. From 2011 to 2013, Derick served as the Lead Programmer at Robofusion, where they designed and deployed a Windows Forms application for interactive robotic self-service food kiosks. Prior to that, they worked at Benefitfocus from 2008 to 2012 as a Software Engineer, where they developed custom reports and managed a web front end tool. Finally, in the late 90s, they worked at Robert Bosch in different roles, including First Time Capability Technician and Setup Mechanic, where they developed custom software applications and oversaw CNC machining operations.

Derick Beckwith has a strong educational background in the field of technology. Derick first attended Trident Technical College from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Industrial Technology.

Following this, Derick pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Charleston Southern University, which they completed from 2001 to 2008.

To further enhance their expertise, they then pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Auburn University, which they completed from 2009 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Derick Beckwith has also obtained several certifications to expand their knowledge and skills. Derick attained a certification in "Programming Cloud Services for Android Handheld Systems" and "Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems" from Coursera Verified Certificates in September 2014 and July 2014 respectively. Furthermore, they also acquired a certification in "Web Application Architectures" from Coursera in May 2014 and a certification in "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems" from Coursera Verified Certificates in March 2014.
