Abhishek Datta

Abhishek Datta has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Abhishek began their career as the CEO and CTO of Soterix Medical Inc. (SMI), a company focused on developing and deploying innovative medical treatments for neuropsychiatric and neurological disorders and rehabilitation. Abhishek also served as a Scientist and CTO at SMI, where they were involved in clinical trials for non-invasive neuromodulation. In 2010, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School. In 2015, they began working as an Adjunct Professor at The City College of New York's Master's in Translational Medicine Program.

Abhishek Datta has an extensive educational background. Abhishek earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The City University of New York between 2004 and 2010. During their PhD studies, they also obtained a Certificate in Intellectual Property from New York University between 2008 and 2009. Before that, they received an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University between 2002 and 2004.
