Shanthi Boppana

Shanthi Boppana is the current CTO and co-founder at Sotero, a company that specializes in building next-generation data security platforms. Prior to their work at Sotero, Boppana served as the Vice President of Big Data and Analytics at Infogroup. In this role, they were responsible for Big Data architecture, planning, and business development. Shanthi also managed global engineering teams and introduced Agile practices to the organization.

Boppana has also co-founded Reyllu, another company that focuses on helping its customers leverage their data assets to become smarter and more data-driven. During their time at Reyllu, they helped deliver innovative solutions that drove real business value and created exponential growth with cutting edge AI technology.

Throughout their career, Boppana has been responsible for designing and developing new analytics offerings, modernizing legacy public APIs, and improving cost efficiency through re-architecting flagship legacy products. Shanthi has also spearheaded categorization, segmentation, and distribution of U.S Business and Consumer data to DSPs and DMPs. In their most recent role at Sotero, they are focused on building a next-generation data security platform that protects data at its core using encryption and enables applications to run against encrypted datasets without rewrites.
