Kate Domash

Kate Domash currently serves as the VP/Director and Head of Marketplace Operations at Sotheby's, a position held since September 2023, also overseeing Marketplace Operations for the EMEA region. Additionally, Kate is the Founder of The Bakery, an artist-run nonprofit gallery in London, established in October 2021. Previous experience includes roles as an Internal Consultant and Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting from April 2018 to August 2023, and a brief stint on an MBA Research Project at Google focusing on e-commerce in the Middle East in late 2017. From 2012 to 2016, Kate was the General Manager at Igloo Kids, where substantial operational improvements resulted in significant sales growth and enhanced profitability. Early career experience includes work as an assistant and intern in Sotheby's Books and Manuscripts Department between 2007 and 2009. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and dual BA degrees in Art History and European History from Barnard College and Columbia University, respectively, alongside a Master of Arts in Postcolonial Culture and Global Policy from Goldsmiths, University of London.
