Maria Caldwell

Maria Caldwell is an experienced legal professional with a distinguished career in compliance and governance. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Sotherly Hotels Inc. since April 2019, Maria previously held prominent roles at the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, Inc., including Chief Legal Officer and Director of Compliance Services from January 2012 to July 2024, and General Counsel and Director of Compliance Services from November 2003 to January 2012.
