Jakub Cierny

Jakub Cierny's work experience includes several roles in the field of quality compliance and pharmaceuticals. Jakub is currently the Chief Quality Compliance Officer at SCTbio, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at SOTIO a.s. as the Head of Quality Compliance from December 2021 to March 2023. Jakub also held positions at Accord Research s.r.o. as a Lead Quality Consultant from October 2017 to December 2019, and at Orifarm Supply s.r.o. as the Head of QA/QC and Qualified Person from November 2006 to August 2012. Jakub's experience also includes roles as a Pharmacist at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in 2006, as well as a Master Thesis project at the University of Helsinki from 2005 to 2006. Jakub started their career as a Volunteer on the Department of Biochemistry at Univerzita Karlova from March 2002 to December 2004.

Jakub Cierny completed their education at Charles University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacy from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended PORG from 1993 to 2001. In addition to their education, Jakub also holds several certifications including Computer Systems Validation Manager from the European Compliance Academy, Validation Manager from the Institute for International Research, and Internal Auditor of the Quality System from the Czech Society for Quality.
